From September 25 to October 2, we shipped 41 improvements across trading, portfolio, UX, and reliability ahead of Catalyst's October 8 launch.
TLDR:
- You can now execute Hyperliquid perpetuals through chat using plain language instead of manual order configuration.
- Quick Trade now shows an inline price chart and real-time typeahead search, removing the need to switch screens.
- Strategy alerts now include a direct action link so you can respond to triggered conditions without losing context.
- Widgets and chat now use the same live data source to keep asset values consistent.
Trade Faster, With More Clarity
Plain-Language Trade Execution
You can now execute Hyperliquid perpetuals through chat. Describe the trade in plain language, such as "go long ETH at 2x," and Catalyst handles the order setup and execution.
Quick Trade Improvements
- Typeahead search now queries all markets in real time as you type, surfacing the right ticker or contract immediately.
- A price chart appears inline with every Quick Trade panel, so you always have price context without leaving the flow.
Your Portfolio, At a Glance
Instant Position Details
Tap any holding and the full position details load right away. No extra navigation, no hunting through submenus.
Real-Time Polymarket Updates
Prediction market positions now pull live odds and status instead of showing stale snapshots. If the market has moved, your portfolio reflects it.
Corrected Dates on Portfolio Chart
Longer timeframe views were showing inaccurate date labels on the performance chart. That's fixed. The dates now match the data you're looking at.
"Cash Out All" Covers Polymarket
The full sweep now includes Polymarket positions. Previously, triggering "Cash Out All" would leave prediction market holdings behind. Now it catches everything.
A Smarter, Cleaner Experience
Strategy Notifications Are Live
Strategy alerts now include a direct action link so you can respond when a condition is met.
Unified Real-Time Data Layer
Widgets and chat now pull from the same live data source, so they show consistent values for the same asset.
Prediction Market Widgets in Context
Polymarket widgets now appear alongside strategy signals where relevant, keeping prediction market data in your decision flow without requiring a separate lookup.
AI-Generated Images on News Headlines
News headlines now render with AI-generated images, making it faster to scan a story at a glance.
Number Formatting for Readability
Portfolio values and market figures now use consistent formatting for very large and very small numbers.
Reliability Fixes
- Insufficient funds errors now surface right away instead of leaving the interface hanging.
- Completed trades no longer show a failed status incorrectly.
- Duplicate prediction markets are removed from search results.
- Quick Trade panels hold their state on error and offer a retry option instead of resetting to zero.
- The login flow is cleaner across phone, wallet, and passkey authentication.
FAQ
What happens to my Polymarket positions when I use "Cash Out All" on Catalyst?
"Cash Out All" now sweeps your full portfolio, including Polymarket prediction market holdings. Before this fix, triggering a full cash-out would leave prediction market positions behind; those are now included in the sweep.
Can I build and automate a trading strategy on Catalyst without writing code?
Yes. Catalyst's workflow builder uses a visual node-based interface where you connect signals, conditions, and trade actions without any code. You can also describe a strategy in plain English and Catalyst builds the logic automatically.
Launch
Catalyst launches October 8. If you're on the waitlist, you're close.
